Hockey World Cup 2018 Ceremony kicks-off in Bhubaneswar

ONI Bureau:  The inaugural ceremony of Hockey World Cup 2018 kicked off at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar with glitz and glamour today evening.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik declared Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 open. The event started with ‘Jai Hind India’ being played in the background.

Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman,  Madhuri Dixit, Odia actors Sabyasachi Mishra and Archita Sahu are set to perform at the Kalinga Stadium today.

The pool stage matches will take place between November 28 and December 11.
