India successfully tests Supersonic Interceptor Missile at Odisha Coast
India on Su
nday, successfully test fired the indigenously developed Advanced Air Defence (AAD) interceptor missile at Abdul Kalam Island. The test was launched at about 11.15 hours.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) announced that the test has been successful.
This test was the twelfth test of interceptor missiles out of which nine tests have been successful. This supersonic missile has the capacity of destroying any incoming hostile ballistic missile.
