Jagamohan repair to start in a Week: Chief Secretary Aditya Padhi

After a meeting with the Central team, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi on Friday said that the Jagamohan Repair work will start in a week.

Union Tourism and Culture Secretary Narendra Sinha with his team visited Jagannath Temple, Puri and reviewed the condition.

Describing the condition of Jagamohan, Sinha said, “We had a long inspection of the affected areas. The crack in the Jagamohan is not newly created. The damages are nearly one hundred years old.”

Further he said that, the repair work will be done as per the advice of the experts from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and Centre would seek help of overseas experts if needed.
