Kerala Flood: Odisha Fire Services extend helping hands

ONI Bureau:  At a time when Kerala experiences worst monsoon in nearly a century, Odisha Fire Services Extended helping hands to assist in flood rescue operations.

A special team of Odisha Fire Services Department today left for Kerala to assist the people facing situations arising out of flood, informed DG Fire Services BK Sharma.

The team consisting of 245 personnel along with 75 power boats left for Kerala today for joining hands in the rescue operation in Kerala and Odisha Fire Services team will play crucial role in flood related operations in Kerala, Sharma informed.

They were airlifted by an IAF Flight at Biju Patnaik International Airport, and the Mission was flagged off by DG Fire Services BK Sharma reportedly.
