Low pressure to trigger heavy rains in next 24 hrs in Odisha

ONI Bureau: Under the impact of a cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal, several parts of Odisha will witness heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

Under its impact, heavy rainfall likely to occur at many parts of the districts including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Puri, Ganjam,  Nayagarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Khordha.

MeT also issued thunderstorm warning for 10 districts – Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundergarh till 6.45 pm today.
