Low pressure to trigger rainfall in Odisha from Nov 12

Insight Bureau:  Odisha is likely to receive heavy rainfall from November 12 due to formation of a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal.

The Meteorological department predicted the effect of low pressure more in coastal pockets.

Apart from coastal districts, other districts like Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Phulbani, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati are also likely to witness rainfall.

It is apprehended that such a weather condition will be a threat to the farmers as crops almost ripe and ready to be harvested.
