Maharathy meets Odisha CM with Krishi Karman Award

Odisha Minister, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, Pradeep Maharathy met CM Naveen Patnaik today and presented the Krishi Karman Award he received on behalf of the state from PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The CM expressed happiness and congratulated Maharathy and thanked the farmers of Odisha for this milestone.

Odisha received the Krishi Karman Award, as it had achieved a record foodgrain production of 118.24 lakh tonne in 2014-15. This is the fourth time Odisha got Krishi Karman Award in the last five years – third consecutive one. The award consists of a trophy, citation and cash amount of Rs 5 crore.
