Man arrested for alleged human sacrifice attempt

Insight News Desk: A man and his accomplices have been taken into custody by Khandagiri police over allegations of human sacrifice bid. the incident occurred at Raghunath Nagar.

Locals alleged that a land owner brought a child for human sacrifice and was performing rituals last night by digging a 20-feet deep pit. Although he clarified that he was offering prayers and puja to free his land from evil spirits, the locals informed the police, who detained him along with other associates.

Probe is on to ascertain the truth.
