Monsoon bids farewell; Low Pressure to trigger Rain in Odisha from Oct 10

ONI Bureau:  The regional centre of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday informed that the South-West monsoon has already withdrawn from entire Odisha.

However, a low-pressure system is likely to intensify into depression in south Bay of Bengal that could strike the east coast and move towards Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts during the subsequent 72 hours.

Under its influence, rainfall activity is likely to occur in Odisha between October 10 and 14.
