The images also show the visualisations of power cutoff in Cuttack and capital city Bhubaneswar.

The category 4 cyclone FANI made landfall at Puri on May 3. The cyclone brought winds of more than 200 kmph and ravaged the districts of Puri, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Khurda. Post Fani was to be witnessed several damaged energy infrastructures and many buildings, leaving around 3.5 million households without power supply for days after the cyclone hit. The cyclone damaged several transmission towers and uprooted as many as 156,000 utility poles.

The restoration work is still underway. It might perhaps take days to get life back to normalcy and certainly difficult to estimate how long it would take to rebuild the ruined cities.
