Now, Traffic cops to get body cameras in Twin City

ONI Bureau: In an attempt to reduce confrontations between traffic policemen and public who are caught violating traffic rules, the Commissionerate Police introduced body and dashboard cameras for traffic personnel in the Twin City of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

The new project was inaugurated by Police Commissioner YB Khurania. He handed over the cameras to the traffic cops earlier today.

Reportedly, the body cameras can capture both video and audio for over four hours and will help them get the exact picture in incidents of assaults on traffic cops, said Police Commissioner YB Khurania.
