Odisha CM flags off 2nd phase Pilgrimage Train for Senior Citizens

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday flagged off second phase of the special pilgrim train for senior citizens in Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

Around 1000 senior citizens of 10 districts left for Allahabad and Varanasi as part of the “Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana” sponsored by the government.

The Pilgrimage trip was launched for the first time from Berhampur Railway Station on July 25.

All necessary arrangements have been made by the State Government for safe journey of the elderly citizens.
