Odisha DGP seeks report on Cop assaulting Journalist

ONI Bureau: Under severe criticism for letting off Puri Talabania IIC Ramakanta Patra with just a transfer even as he assaulted a working journalist at Capital Police Station in Bhubaneswar, Odisha DGP Dr. RP Sharma has sought a detailed report from the Commissionerate Police.

Earlier, the IIC was transferred to the District Hospitals after he assaulted News18 Odia Reporter Subhrakant Padhiary in an alleged inebriated condition.
