Odisha Govt approves 1% DA Hike for Employees, Pensioners

Insight Bureau: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the hike in dearness allowances (DA) by 1% for both state government employees and pensioners with effect from July 1, 2017.

The DA will now be 5% for the government employees and the pensioners. The pensioners who draw pension at the pre-revised rate, will get an additional DA of 3% on the existing rate of 136%.
