Odisha pays tribute to Netaji, Surendra Sai on their Birth Anniversary

ONI Bureau:  Odisha paid rich tribute to two of its legendary sons & freedom fighters Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 121st birth anniversary and Veer Surendra Sai on his 209th birth anniversary.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today paid floral tribute to the most prominent Indian freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for fighting against the British.

The leader of the younger, radical, Bose’s most famous quote was “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom!” In this, he urged the people of India to join him in his fight against the British Raj.

Likewise, Surendra Sai, who sacrificed his life fighting against the British, successfully protected most parts of Western Odisha region for some time from the British rule.
