One Arrested in Cuttack Minor Gang Rape Case

One person was arrested in Cuttack minor gang rape case on Wednesday, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh informed. Efforts are on to nab the second accused.

A minor was allegedly gang rape for 22 days for around 22 days inside a poultry farm near Gatiroutpatna under Chauliaganj police limits in Cuttack.

The girl had revealed she was being tortured by her parents and had come to Cuttack to stay with elder sister and brother-in-law. After a dispute, the minor was asked to return to her place.

At the OMP square, she was approached by a youth and took her on the pretext of taking her home.

She was taken to a farmhouse and allegedly gang raped by the youth and his associate for 22 days.

The minor girl has been handed over to Childline and produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
