Poll Violence: Former Block Congress President killed in Bhadrak

In yet another poll violence in the State, a former block Congress president was allegedly killed by BJD workers in Palasa panchayat under Banta block in Bhadrak district. The deceased was identified as Suresh Rout.

Another Congress worker was seriously injured was admitted to district headquarters hospital in critical condition.

By keeping the body, a huge number of Congress workers led by former OPCC president Jayadev Jena staged road blockade in front of the Bhadrak SP office on Monday, demanding probe into the matter.
