Reduced Bus tariff in Odisha implemented

While the country is experiencing a fall in the economy, Odisha govt contrarily has reduced bus fares across all categories. The updated tariffs come into effect immediately. The fares of ordinary and express buses have been decreased by one paisa per kilometre and that of deluxe and AC deluxe buses by two paise per kilometre.

The official notification said the fares had been slashed because of the reduction in petrol prices.

The fares are as follows:
Ordinary – 68p/km (from 69p/km)
Express – 71p/km (from 72p/km)
Deluxe – 97p/km (from 99p/km)
AC Deluxe – 119p/km (from 121p/km)

More than 1 million commuters will be happy to avail these reduced prices.
