Sand Art Park to be set up in Odisha’s Puri soon

ONI Bureau:  In an attempt to promote sand art in the State, the Odisha Government on Tuesday identified land to set up the state’s first ‘Sand Art Park’ in the holy city of Puri beach in Odisha.

The place for sand sculptures park has been identified by the Puri Dist Collector Arvind Agarwal and renowned sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik near Banki muhan beach.

Whereas, Odisha Tourism Secretary Mona Sharma, Puri District Collector Arvind Agarwal and other officials of Tourism department finalised the land for the project.

The park will have a workshop centre, where training on sand art will be provided and  photo related to sand arts will be permanent display there.
