Sanyas Behera tops among 8 Visually-impaired persons in Odisha Civil Service Exam

Sanyas Kumar Behera topped among eight visually impaired candidates who qualified for the prestigious Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) examination 2015.

Behera, had moved a PIL in the Orissa High Court in 2011 seeking withdrawal of the discriminatory clause.

Sanyas, who is completely visually impaired, pursued his matriculation from Bhima Bhoi School for the Blind in Bhubaneswar and passed graduation from Alagappa University in Tamil Nadu.

The residence of Kishoreprasad village under Gania block in Nayagarh district, Sanyas is blessed with two daughters and one son.
