Re-polling at 36 Booths of 1st Phase Panchayat Polls held today

Re-polling was held in 36 booths of six districts where voting during the first phase Panchayat Polls in Odisha was cancelled.

Earlier, the State Election Commission (SEC) ordered to conduct repolling in 62 wards of 11 districts across the State.

SEC had received reports of disputes and ballot box snatchings in various booths following which the Commission has decided to conduct re-polling between 18th and 21st of this month.

Re-polling will be conducted in Koraput, Nuapada, Balasore, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Puri and Sundargarh districts.
