Security Guard Murdered; High Tension In Pahala Area

Panic gripped in Pahala area after a security guard was found murdered on Thursday morning. The miscreants committed the crime brutally.
The deceased was identified as Gadadhar Swain, a security guard at a marble factory in Pahala.
According to sources, the locals noticed the body soaked in blood beside the shop in a room and soon informed the police. Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post mortem. The weapon used in the murder was also seized from the site.
Tension ran high in the area with locals blocking the NH-5 and demanding strict and immediate action against the miscreants. The agitation impacted the traffic as the vehicles remained stuck. To control the situation, cops were stationed in the area.

Although the exact reason behind the murder is yet to be confirmed, police suspect that the murder must have likely happened due to a scuffle between the miscreants and the guard.
