Six people arrested for filming TikTok Videos Inside Quarantine Centre In Odisha

The Tihidi police of Bhadrak district registered a case against six inmates for violating social distancing norms in a quarantine centre at Bhatapara and filming a video on TikTok. The Bhadrak SP informed this in a tweet which said: “Tihidi PS case No 172 Dt 4,5.20 u/s 188/269/270IPC/ sec 51 DM Act has been registered against 6 persons for violating social distancing norms in quarantine centre at Bhatapara and uploading the video on Tik Tok.”

In the four TikTok videos, about six inmates were seen filming themselves dancing within the quarantine centre violating social distancing norms which have now gone viral on social media. Meantime, Sarpanch of Bhatapada panchayat filed a complaint at Tihidi Police station against seven patients in connection with the incident.

The videos are filmed inside Tihidi High School, which has been stated as a COVID quarantine centre to secure the suspected corona patients.
