Special Incentive for Constables, Sepoys in Maoist-hit areas

To encourage personnel engaged in anti-Maoist operation in Odisha, the State government on Tuesday announced a special incentive for the police constables and sepoys deployed in the Maoist-hit areas.

The constables and sepoys, recruited under contract system, will get the benefit with this move.

The constables and sepoys working with Special Operation Group (SOG) will be entitled to a 60 per cent special incentive of their original pay and who have deployed in Maoist affected areas be entitled to a 15 per cent hike.
