Sumitra Jena appointed Odisha Mahila Congress President

ONI Bureau:   All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday appointed Sumitra Jena as the President of Odisha Mahila Congress. Sumitra Jena will replace Sasmita Behera, said a release issued by the AICC.

Sumitra Jena is the daughter of eminent freedom fighter & Ex MLA Late Jayakrushna Mohanty & late Kiranlekha Mohanty. Her Mother is the adopted daughter of Cvil Rights Activist  Malati Choudhury & former Odisha CM Nabakrushna Choudhuri.

Rahul Gandhi also appointed Krushna Chandra Sagaria as General Secretary of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC); Bibhu Prasad Tarai as Chairman of Scheduled Caste Cell of PCC; Jagannath Patnaik as Member of Executive Committee of OPCC.
