Utkal University cancels Students’ Union Poll this year too

ONI Bureau:  The Utkal University administration on Saturday cancelled Student Union polls this year too citing violent incidents and student unrest.

A high level meeting chaired by PG Council Chairman and members of advisory committee, has decided to scrap this year’s elections too as the situation on campus is not under control, informed students’ union advisor, Basant Kumar Mallick today.

The poll in Vani Vihar (Utkal University) was cancelled two times earlier, for repeated violent incidents.
