Twist in the Tale: “Sabyasachi Panda” is not the Maoist Leader

Sabyasachi Panda, who had allegedly received Rs 45 lakh from BJD account as per former Union Minister Braja Kishore Tripathy, is a commoner, not the dreaded Maoist leader, who is in jail now.

This Sabyasachi is from Kamapalli, Berhampur, a small businessman. His father’s name is Chittaranjan Panda. He reportedly worked with Gopalpur Port on a contract.

Sabyasachi had opened the account (No: 203601501728) at ICICI Bank, Chhatrapur on February 28, 2014 ahead of Assembly Polls. Huge transaction reported from the account in the past. But, he has just Rs 1,174 account balance today.

The commoner Sabyasachi has denied all allegations and said he never received any funds from the BJD.
