Uma Bharti condemns ruling BJD’s Rail Roko over Mahanadi Row

Union Water Resources Minister Sushri Uma Bharti condemned the ruling BJD’s rail roko in Odisha over Mahanadi row.

Bharti said the issue is irrelevant for people travelling in trains. She further stated that, boath Odisha & Chhattisgarh government have agreed to resolve the Mahanadi projects issue then why BJD trying to politicise the issue.

It is to be noted that, the Union Ministry for Water Resources called a meeting of representatives of Governments of Odisha and Chattisgarh in New Delhi on July 28 to discuss various water resources issues in Mahanadi Basin.
