Union Telecom Minister lays Foundation Stone of Baramunda Post Office

Baramunda-POUnion Minister of Communications & IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad laid the foundation stone for the Baramunda Post Office building in Bhubaneswar. The ceremony was held at Hotel Mayfair. Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan also attended the function.

While addressing the people present there, Ravi Shankar Prasad talked about Digital India and Digital Revolution. He also hailed India Post, saying the speed post services offered by it, has beaten the private couriers by a huge margin. He also said that more postal ATMs will come up across the country soon. He also hailed the Suknaya Samridhi Yojana for girls.

Among others, Odisha Tourism Minister Ashok Panda, Bhubaneswar MP Prasanna Patasani and BJP’s state Unit President KV Singhdeo were present at the occasion.
