The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has set up a four-member panel too probe into India’s disastrous performance in Shooting at Rio 2016. 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra, who narrowly missed a medal this time, will head the committee.
Shooting and Wrestling are two two disciplines, where India expected to win a few medals. But, the country drew blank in Shooting despite the presence of top Shooters such as Abhinav Bindra, Gagan Narang, Manavjit Sandhu, Jitu Rai, Heena Sidhu etc. In Wrestling, Sakshi Malik won the lone Bronze medal.
The NRAI Committee will have former Tennis player Manisha Malhotra and two Journalists apart from Bindra.
