COVID-19 Odisha: Vaccine Programme Unlikely From May 1

The COVID-19 vaccination programme in Odisha is unlikely to begin from May 1. The vaccine manufacturers might not be able to deliver vaccines before May 15.

Odisha had announced free vaccination for all people above 18 years. It had also placed order for vaccines.

The State had asked for 10.34 lakh Covaxin doses from Bharat Biotech and 3.77cr Covishield doses from Serum Institute of India.
