Farmers’ stir on Price, Pension and Prestige put on hold till May 5

ONI Bureau:  The farmers’ agitation over ‘Price, Pension and Prestige’ in Odisha has been postponed till May 5, informed by the Navnirman Krushak Sangathan Convener Akshay Kumar today.

After discussion with 4 BJD MLAs at the protest place today, the farmers backed by Navnirman Krushak Sangathan decided to put the agitation on hold.

Earlier, Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy informed about the discussion in any other place but unwilling to move from the protest place, the farmers demanded that the State Governments representative should come to the spot to have discussion.
