Know How Odisha Is Taking Care of The Impoverished

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the Odisha government has taken several measures and steps to combat the outbreak for the welfare of the state.

Continuing with the efforts the state government has lent support to the poor, deprived and stranded persons across Odisha in the following ways –

Pensions to the old aged persons have been distributed at the doorsteps in different areas of Jagatsinghpur district.

Having started a hot cooked meal program by providing a cooked meal to more than 1,38,272 sick, indigent and destitute persons across 3,226 Gram Panchayats of the state.

Approximately, 9000 meals are being served daily throughout the day.
