List of shops delivering liquor to your homes with phone numbers
The Odisha government has approved home delivery of alcohol by the current On and Off store licensees of IMFL and beer established in areas other than the containment zones and shopping malls with effect from May 24. The government has also inflicted an additional 50% ‘Special COVID Fee’ on the maximum retail price of liquor. The government revised applicable provisions under the Odisha Excise Rules, 2017, for facilitating home delivery of alcohol.
Zomato and Swiggy have been authorised to make home delivery of liquor. While Zomato will operate in Municipal Corporations of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Berhampur as well as Puri Municipality, Swiggy will participate in in-home delivery of alcohol in Municipal Corporations of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Rourkela.
Expected timing for home delivery would be between 7 AM and 6 PM. Purchases are anticipated to be delivered within six hours.
