Modi arrives in Bhubaneswar, heads straight to IIT Campus

ONI Bureau:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Bhubaneswar in a special IAF aircraft and then took the MI-7 helicopter to reach the specially designed helipad from where he headed straight to IIT Campus in Argul by road. Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram along with other dignitaries were present at the Bhubaneswar Airport to welcome the Prime Minister.

On behalf of the Odisha Government, Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, DGP Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sharma and Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena were present at the Airport.

PM Modi will dedicate the IIT Campus to the nation accompanied by the screening of a short film. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik will address the official congregation.

The PM will release a commemorative stamp and coin on the 200th anniversary of Paika Rebellion and announce a Chair on Paila Rebellion in Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He will also inaugurate Lalitgiri Museum and new ESIC Hospital in Bhubaneswar from the dais.

PM Modi will lay foundation stone of various infrastructure projects of Petroleum Ministry and National Highways.
