Odisha Boiling Under Extreme Heat Conditions

With extreme heat conditions prevailing in the state, the soaring temperature has thrown people’s life out of gear in many districts of the state.
While the rains due to extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani may bring respite from the heat but it may again bring life in an out-of- normal state because of the devastating impact it may leave. With the cyclone advancing towards the coastal Odisha, humidity level has increased and put people at unrest.

The Indian Meteorological Department has reported temperature soaring to 40 C across 11 cities in the state. On Tuesday, Subarnapur registered the highest of 42.4 C.
