OSPCB slaps closure notice to 20 Hotels in Puri

The Puri administration has announced to seal 20 seaside hotels for allegedly violating the pollution control norms.

The Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) has issued the  closure notice to these hotels for violating National Green Tribunal (NGT) orders. The OSPCB asked tourists to vacate the hotels by Friday evening.

These hotels are running their business without obtaining any consent from the Board.
