Police resort to lathi-charge on Panchayat Samiti Members in Bhubaneswar

ONI Bureau: Police today resorted to lathi-charge on agitating Panchayat Samiti members at Lower PMG in Odisha capital as they tried to gherao Odisha Assembly over fulfilment of several demands.

Several members of Panchayat Samiti Sabhya Association were thrashed by cops when they tried to barge into the State Assembly.

As many as five persons were injured in the incident while police have detained over 30 agitators, sources said.
