Sex Racket at VSS Nagar busted by Commissionerate Police

Bhubaneswar, May 31: Sahidnagar Police team raided in VSS Nagar and busted sex racket on Saturday at 11 am acting on a tip-off. Police arrested three people in this connection.

Police team raided plot not. 50164 Brundaban enclave, near VSS Nagar daily market on Saturday and busted sex racket. The people were arrested in the sex racket by the Commisionerate police. It was informed that one Pramila Behera, who was broker and kingpin of the racket was procuring girls from different parts of the states and engaging them in prostitution in the spot house. During raid police rescue 3  girls/women and seized one car utilized for trafficking along with increment articles. In this connection a case vide Sahidnagar PS Case No. 272 dtd.30.05.2015 u/s 3/4/5/7 ITP Act has been registered. Pramila Behera, the kingpin of the racket along with 3 customers caught red handed were arrested and forwarded to the court. Investigation of the case is in progress.
