Sprint Queen Dutee Chand wins 23rd Ekalavya Award for 2015

Sprint queen from Odisha, Dutee Chand has been selected for the prestigious 23d Ekalavya Award for 2015, while Pramila Kirsani and Saina Salonika finished runners-up in the race. Dutee will get a reward of Rs 5 lakh along with a citation.

Pramila Kirsani and Saina Salonika will get Rs 50,000 each along with citations. The award is being given by Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), the charitable wing of the IMFA Group.

The Ekalavya Award was instituted in 1993. Dutee has been chosen for the award for her outstanding performance over the last few years.
