State Vigilance forms 5 Teams to probe Sting Operation on BJD MLAs

The State Vigilance today formed five teams to probe the sting operation aired on a news channel that exposed four of its legislators allegedly seeking money for helping ‘industrialists.’

In this regard, the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday ordered a vigilance probe into the alleged bribe demand by the Party MLAs.

while talking to media persons, Vigilance Director RP Sharma said, the State Vigilance has formed five teams to investigate the matter. It will form more teams if require.

Initially, the Vigilance team will collect the audio and video clippings and send it for forensic test, he added.
