Voting for third phase of the Odisha Panchayat Polls began on Friday at 7 am across the State. It will continue till 12 noon. Polling will be held for 175 Zilla Parishads, under 65 Blocks across all 30 districts.
Around 53,23,993 voters will exercise their franchise for electing representatives for the election of 1,394 Panchayat Samiti members and 18,859 Ward Members, informed by the State Election Commission (SEC) Secretary Rabindranath Sahu.
The polling would be held in Deogarh district this time which was scheduled in the first phase but was postponed due to security reasons, Sahu stated.
