2nd phase of ‘Raahgiri Day’ to begin from November 27

The Minister of Tourism & Culture Ashok Chandra Panda on Friday informed that the second phase of ‘Raahgiri Day’ celebrations will begin from November 27 in Bhubaneswar.

Raahgiri Day will be observed in every Sunday and to be held between morning 6 AM to 10 AM.

Raahgiri is an event to promote car-free and pollution-free streets, and to celebrate the spirit of togetherness and joy.

As part of Raahgiri Day, people from different walks of life participating in fun, cycling, skating, running, walking, dancing, yoga, aerobics and others.

Earlier, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has suspended the weekly Raahgiri celebration for two months owing to the rains.
